Volunteer Workday Event at the Friends of Goodale Park

We are actively engaged in the important and rewarding task of cleaning up gardens, which involves a variety of activities aimed at restoring and enhancing the beauty of outdoor spaces. Our efforts include removing weeds that can choke out the growth of flowers and plants, trimming overgrown bushes and hedges to promote healthy growth, and clearing away debris such as fallen leaves, branches, and litter that can detract from the overall appearance of the garden. In addition to these essential cleanup tasks, we also focus on enriching the soil by adding compost or mulch, which not only improves the health of existing plants but also prepares the ground for new plantings. We believe that a well-maintained garden not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal of a property but also provides a habitat for local wildlife, supports biodiversity, and enhances the overall well-being of the community.
